Michelle is an Assurance Partner with Parker Randall Eastern Africa. Michelle has over seven years of professional experience in audit covering various industry sectors, specifically commercial enterprises. She currently specializes in providing audit and transaction advice to clients in both commercial and not for profit sector and has participated and led various assignments in Kenya, Tanzania, Burundi, Southern Sudan, Djibouti, and Chad.
She has a good understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards and International Public Sector Accounting and International Audit Standards; Companies Kenya act 2015 and auditing in an Enterprise Resource Planning environment. She has worked with clients in the following industries: governments, parastatals, aid agencies, NGOs, banking, insurance, internet service providers, agriculture, manufacturing, courier service, telecommunications, public relations, and the hotel and tourism industry.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of commerce Degree in Finance and Post-Graduate Diplomas in Business Administration issue by the Association of Business Executives –UK. She is also a holder of a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance. She is a certified Public Accountant of Kenya and A Certified Fraud Examiners (USA). She is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (ICPAK), Association Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) Association of Business Executive (ABE) and Association of Women Accountants of Kenya (AWAK).
